Vertical Current was formed in 2009 by Grammy Nominated trumpeter/composer, Christopher Michael Stevens. Harnessing a multitude of musical influences, the band delivers a powerfully electrifying blend of genres in a way that engages audiences of all ages. The band seamlessly navigates the complexities of modern jazz while maintaining the danceability and accessibility of pop without sacrificing the rich tradition of improvisation.
